Invisalign and Invisalign Teen
We utilize the Invisalign™ system of clear aligners, or trays, as an alternative to traditional braces. So if you would like to straighten your teeth, but want something more discrete, then Invisalign or Invisalign Teen is the perfect alternative for you. These aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic. They are extremely comfortable, easy to use and don’t have any eating restrictions. Simply wear them throughout the day, and remove them when you eat or to brush and floss your teeth. As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth gently and gradually begin to shift into their proper position. And because they’re virtually invisible, most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them. iTero Scanner
No more gooey impressions! By using the iTero 3D scanner Dr. Newman is able to eliminate the use of those yucky dental impressions that everyone dreads. For many patients gagging during dental impressions is a problem We are able to eliminate the use of impressions by utilizing the iTero scanner for most of our dental procedures. By utilizing this high tech technology in our office, Dr. Newman is able to offer her patients State of the art imaging technology that delivers far greater accuracy than traditional impressions. And for our Invisalign patients, using the iTero scanner result in fewer and shorter patient appointments with the aligners arriving faster than if traditional impressions are sent in by mail. There is greater accuracy within the impressions and this virtually eliminates redo appointments, reduces chairside adjustments for aligners and results in better treatment outcomes. Digital Radiography
At Bordentown Braces and Cream Ridge Orthodontics, we are proud to be using digital xrays. Digital X-rays or digital radiography is a huge benefit to our patients because it requires much less radiation than traditional film X-rays. This means that Dr. Newman can acquire the information that she needs about your teeth and jaws without putting you or your children at any risk. Dr. Newman is then able to attain a diagnosis and proper treatment plan more efficiently than with traditional xrays. Usually, these x-rays are taken prior to the start of treatment to aid in our diagnosis and treatment planning.
